Armand Der-Hacobian is a Commercial and Residential Real Estate Broker who has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last 28 years.
Armand is committed to doing his part to improve the quality of life of San Francisco residents. To that end, he has been elected and is serving his third consecutive term as President of the 246 2nd street HOA, a mixed residential/commercial building in the South of Market neighborhood. In this capacity, he has worked tirelessly to represent the best interests of homeowners and District 9 residents in a variety of matters involving city planning, developers, pedestrian safety, tax assessments, etc.
Armand is also active in San Francisco politics and helps, pro bono, raise funding for initiatives that help San Francisco and all of its residents.
Prior to LEAP, Armand founded two companies: a software start-up (co-founder) and a management consulting firm. He also worked as a Sales and Business Development executive for high-tech companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000.
Armand holds a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings. He met his military obligations by serving as an officer in the French Army. He is the recipient of France’s National Defense Medal. He is an avid tennis player.
